This quilt isnt new but it has a new job. I made it for my older sister last christmas when she was going through a tough time. Well this christmas she went through another tough time. Things are looking up but life has been changed forever for her and our family. Penny was diagnosed with leukemia in early December. It has been a tough month but on friday her tests came back within acceptable levels. She has spent a lot of time off her feet and much of that was curled up the quilt I gave her. It makes me feel good knowing she has that piece of me where ever she is (be it home or the hospital)
