Birthday Amira Bag

Jamie (pronounced hi-may) LOVED my bag while in St George. I told her to pick fabric and I would make her one. Here it is.
Jamie called me and told me how much she liked her bag, including the upside down pockets. Yes, I sewed them in upside down.

a peek at block quilts

I am currently, slowly, working on two block quilts. The dog one is adorable when finished. The circle one is an idea I got from another shop but came up with the overall pattern myself. I will be sure to post pictures when the get done.

simple day at the lake quilt

I picked this material up while on QGW09. Yes, it is the smae material as the table runners, but it is so bright and cute I couldn't resist.

Quilters gone wild ideas

These are more for the girls I went with. The circle one is made with die cuts from a big shot.

Quilters gone wild 2009 projects

I pieced three table runners tops while down in St George. The pictures are of the whole project and then up close of the material, cause it is so dang cute. The two bright ones will be in my front room on my mantel and coffee table next summer, since I have no furniture in the front room right now.

Quilters gone wild bag

This is an Amira bag that I made for my no boys allowed, quilting weekend. The buttons are actually leather, and I love them.

Julie's baby bag

One of my BFF's is having a baby. This is her baby bag I made her. I need to get it to her, but I hope she enjoys this little peek at it.

another Amira Bag

this one I made with a short handle.
The real story behind this bag is.. My brother in law, who is on a tour of duty in Afghanistan, emailed me and asked if I would make his wife a bag for her brithday. I gladly said yes and got to work. I mailed it to their home in Colorado and she will get the suprise today. She has no clue that Cory or I were up to this. So Tricia, I hope you enjoy your suprise and have a happy birthday.
