the mailbox bag

I hated making this bag. I actually put it at the the bottom of my to do pile when i was half way through, because I was so fustrated with it. I finished it my own way and it turned out ok. The birdie is a cute zipper pull I got while on Quilters Gone Wild.

The Field bag

This bag is huge. The picture in the mirror is give size reference, but it doesn't do it very good. It also has a gusseted bottom so it opens up to about 8 inches wide. I am using it as a small suitcase on my weekend trips I am taking next month.

trio of circles

This is just the center protion. The yardage has not come in yet of this line so I have to wait to do the borders. I cut out each circle with the Big shot using Scallop 1 and 2. I can't wait to finish it and get it quilted. I am giving this to my sister for a Christmas present.

Knitting bag

One of the ER nurses that Brian and I are friends with knitted me a pair of socks. In return I made her a knitting bag. I figure since she works in the ER she has a twisted sense of humor and she will enjoy this material. The skulls are the lining of the bag.

pool side bags

My mom decided that since Penny and I have birthdays really close, and we both need a break from the stresses of everyday life, that we three needed a weekend getaway. She is taking us to Glenwood Springs Colorado. We are staying at the original Inn and have access to the springs (pool). So I made us all bags to haul our stuff to and from the pool and spa areas. Mine is the orange one, Penny's is the teal with yellow handle, and mom's is the black and turquoise. I hope they like them.
